Jane loves to sing and act. For her, the show must go on.
When Jane was 15 years old, she began singing on live radio. She would go on to have a career performing in plays, commercials, musicals, and movies.
Today, at 86 years old, she still enjoys singing and dancing. Jane lives alone with an eyesight disability. Unfortunately, her eyesight is so poor she can barely see.
Because of your generosity through RSVP Provide-A-Ride, she can see her doctors on a regular basis and live in better health. Jane shares how much she appreciates all the care she has received.
I quit driving three years ago because of my eyesight, which has only gotten worse. Every month, I have three to four appointments with my specialists. It’s tough for my daughter to take off work to take me to see my doctors.
RSVP Provide-A-Ride has been such a blessing to me. The drivers are always so kind and happy to see me. They make me feel like they do care about me. Because of my poor eyesight, they help me fill out my medical paperwork and read me the instructions for my medications.
They are always there for me whenever I need them. I know my health would be worse if I could not see my doctors on a regular basis and receive the ongoing medical care I need. I am so thankful for all they have done for me.
