As older adults continue to age, their need to see their doctors and specialists increases in frequency. Their diminished ability to drive longer distances means they must turn to family and friends for help to keep their medical appointments.
Treva is fortunate that while she lives alone, she has two sons who live nearby. However, due to her sons’ busy work schedules, Treva needed to find a way to see her doctors without the burden falling on her family. Two years ago, Treva contacted RSVP Provide-A-Ride.
Treva credits staying in better health to RSVP Provide-A-Ride. Our drivers are always there for her when she needs them.
“I feel safe when I am with them. I know they care about me, and our time to my medical appointments and back home is always a nice time of visiting together. I don’t know what I would do without them.”
